BLACKFOOT — A 73-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash Wednesday night.
Idaho State Police say Gayle Giles of Shelley was driving eastbound on US26 at milepost 291 – about 14 miles west of Blackfoot.
According to investigators, Giles was driving at a slow speed and was straddling the dividing line.
Lynn Marlow, 62, of Rigby, was also eastbound. Police say Marlow struck Giles from behind.
Giles was transported to Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot, where she died.
Police report both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
