ST. ANTHONY — A 46-year-old Ashton man is in jail facing a rape charge.
Fremont County Sheriff Detectives say they responded to Madison Memorial Hospital on Jan. 1 for a report of a possible sexual assault. Investigators tell EastIdahoNews.com the victim was 16-years-old.
After an investigation, deputies arrested Timothy Greene on Feb. 29 and charged him with rape.
Greene was booked into the Fremont County Jail on $75,000.00 bond. Authorities say he has bonded out.
Greene is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 14.
