“School buses are unable to pick up students in the Granite and Summit areas because of heavy snowfall, which occurred after buses had begun their routes. Also because of the snowfall many secondary bus routes are running considerably late.”
ORIGINAL STORY:
POCATELLO — The Pocatello Police Department has issued an alert asking drivers to be careful on the roads this morning.
Officers have already responded to five accidents and there are currently traffic delays on E. Clark, Arthur at Benton and on Johnny Creek Road.
Pocatello Fire Chief David Gates says crews have responded to three slide-offs since 7 a.m.
Police are warning drivers to leave early, slow down, increase your following distance and allow for extra time to get to your destination.
