Police searching for man who stole credit cards, charged $9,000 at businesses

The following is a news release from Idaho Falls Police Department.

IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Falls Police Department is seeking community assistance in identifying
a suspect who used stolen credit cards to purchase more than $9,000 in merchandise from several
stores in Idaho Falls and Ammon.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his twenties or thirties, approximately 5’4” to 5’6” in height with a medium build.

According to reports, a resident reported to police three credit cards were stolen from his vehicle
while parked at the Apple Athletic Club, 2030 Jennie Lee Drive.

The cards were used at Ulta, Best Buy and Target. The suspect also attempted to purchase
merchandise at Simply Mac. In total the suspect fraudulently purchased $9,022 in merchandise.
