IDAHO FALLS– Idaho Falls Police arrested 26-year-old Travis K. Bates for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver on Sunday morning.
The Idaho Falls man also was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers confronted Bates in the 200 block of 12th Street while on foot looking for vehicle burglary suspects around 5:15 a.m., according to reports.
During their contact, officers found Bates in possession of 3.93 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, empty, small plastic bags, a knife-sharpener, a pipe and a syringe.
Bates is being held at the Bonneville County Jail without bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 10.
