REXBURG — One juvenile was flown by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a one vehicle rollover on U.S. Highway 20 south of the Sugar City exit.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Rexburg EMS responded to the accident at about 11:19 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies responded and found a Chevy pickup truck had rolled with two juvenile male occupants. One of the occupants was thrown from the vehicle, according to officers at the scene.
Life Flight was called to the scene from the Rexburg Airport, briefly interrupting the Rexburg Air Show. Northbound Highway 20 was closed and traffic was diverted into Sugar City to allow the helicopter to land.
The second male passenger was transported from the scene by ground ambulance to EIRMC.
The scene has now been cleared and roads are open. The crash is under investigation by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
Names have not been released at this time because they were both juveniles.
