IDAHO FALLS — The Grand Teton Mall has a new general manager.
Darren Howard of St. George, Utah, took over the position in July. The previous general manager, Valerie Worthen, retired in March.

“I love Idaho and am glad to be back,” he said.
Howard is pleased with the direction the mall is heading. The mall is actively shopping retailers to come to the mall and management is pushing to get stores inside and outside of the mall, Howard said. Expanding the food options the mall is also an area they want to work on. Howard hopes to have new stores like Spencer’s and Trade Home Shoes open by October.
Howard believes the the mall is an important part of the community and wants to keep it that way by hosting more events and encouraging greater community involvement.
