The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
POCATELLO — On July 15, at approximately 3:50 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a crash on Interstate 15, near the Clark Street Exit in Pocatello, ID.
Kyle L. Jones, 23, of Pocatello, ID, was driving southbound in a 2008 Ford F350 pickup, pulling a 2002 trailer, with an excavator on it. Jones lost control of the vehicle, and rolled the pickup onto the right shoulder. The excavator came off of the trailer, but did not block any travel lanes.
Jackson G. Robertson, 21, of Pocatello, ID, was a passenger in the vehicle. Neither Jones nor Robertson were wearing seatbelts. Both subjects were transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID.
