IDAHO FALLS — Dozens of people gathered Wednesday morning to celebrate the grand reopening of Albertsons at 590 E. 17th St.
The interior of the grocery store has undergone a major renovation over the past three months.
Shoppers will now notice an extended butcher block, deli, large bakery area, sushi counter and a drive-thru pharmacy that has doubled in size.
“I want to thank all of our shoppers for their patience over the past few months,” Albertsons store director Scott Boling said during a ribbon cutting ceremony. “As you can see it’s all been totally worth it.”
During the ceremony, Albertsons presented $1,000 checks to Idaho Falls High School and Skyline High School.
The grocery store will be celebrating their renovation with special promotions all month long.
