IDAHO FALLS — A 59‐year‐old Idaho Falls man has been arrested after police say he stole items from a home.
Police say Roger L. Gibson kicked in the front door of a home on the 100 block of Ninth Street around 8:45 a.m. Monday.
The owners returned home and discovered Gibson inside. They reported the burglary to police and Gibson fled the scene.
Police later found Gibson near the 600 block of Park Avenue and he was taken into custody.
The homeowners reported a small amount of money, vitamins and medication has been stolen.
Gibson was booked into the Bonneville County Jail on a felony burglary charge and will make his first court appearance this afternoon.
