IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police arrested 39-year-old Corbet L. Ormsbee for felony malicious injury to property following a domestic dispute Saturday night.
The Idaho Falls man was booked into the Bonneville County Jail for telephone harassment and providing false information to police.
Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of First Street around 10:25 p.m. for a domestic disturbance.
En route to the disturbance, officers were advised that Ormsbee had rammed his pickup truck into the reporting party’s parked car causing approximately $1,000 in damage before leaving the scene, police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen said.
Ormsbee called the reporting party multiple times making threats after he left, said Hansen.
Ormsbee was later located and arrested at his residence in the 400 block of Whittier.
Ormsbee is being held in the Bonneville County Jail with no bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 17.
