IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police arrested Jake Alan Lake, 23, for felony aggravated assault and felony attempted strangulation Saturday, Aug. 22.
Officers responded to the 4000 block of South 5th West around 9:30 a.m. regarding an assault that occurred earlier at a residence in the 1600 block of Juniper.
The victim told police Lake choked her several times and threatened her with a gun, according to an Idaho Falls news release.
Officers contacted and arrested Lake in the 1600 block of Juniper.
The Idaho Falls man is being held in the Bonneville County Jail with no current bond.
His arraignment is scheduled for Aug. 24, at which time a bond may be set.
