Fire at Los Alberto’s in Idaho Falls, restaurant evacuated

IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Falls Fire Department is responding to a fire at the Los Alberto’s Restaurant at 1471 Northgate Mile near the Fred Meyer building.

The blaze occurred just after 7 a.m. Friday. A number of fire engines and ambulances are on the scene.

It’s unclear if anyone was in the building when the fire started. There are business employees in the parking lot.

No cause has been released.

The parking lot around Fred Meyer has been closed. There is heavy smoke in the area.
