The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
LEMHI COUNTY — On Sunday, at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle fatality crash on Salmon River Road, near North Fork in Lemhi County.
James Wilson, 73, of Salmon, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup northbound on Salmon River Road, when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned, coming to rest on the iced-over Salmon River.
Wilson succumbed to his injuries on scene. Wilson was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
