IDAHO FALLS — Students at Skyline High School were greeted with visible displays of support Tuesday morning following the deaths of two classmates.

Students at rival Idaho Falls High School placed signs and blue ribbons on trees, door handles, posts, fences and elsewhere.

A large sign over the main entrance reads, “IFHS loves SHS.”

Along the fence, in big blue letters, is the phrase “1 Town. 1 Love. 1 Heart.”

A sign over another door says, “Our hearts are with you.”

This is the second time in less than a month when Idaho Falls High School students have visibly shown support for other schools following tragedies.

On Apr. 28, students at Rigby High School discovered hallways and bathroom walls covered with hundreds of supportive messages written on Post-It notes. The act of kindness came just days after a Rigby High School student committed suicide and another student attempted suicide.
