SEATTLE — The Society of Professional Journalism announced Wednesday that EastIdahoNews.com has won two awards in the Northwest United States region. They were the only awards presented to any Idaho media organization this year.
The contest celebrates outstanding journalism produced in 2016 and published, posted or aired in Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon.
News Director Nate Eaton took first place in the Feature Video Reporting category for his story entitled “Remembering Jeralee Underwood”.

Eaton and reporter Stephan Rockefeller also took first place in the General News Video Reporting category for a story called “The Sunday Bandit”.
