IDAHO FALLS – Police arrested 56-year-old Carter Wood for felony driving under the influence following a hit and run crash Saturday afternoon.
Wood of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to reports, officers responded to a hit and run accident around 3:30 p.m. at 12th and Bonneville. A witness reported the license plate of the suspect vehicle to police.
The police tracked the vehicle to Wood, whom was under the influence of alcohol.
Wood has two previous DUI convictions in the last 10 years.
