IDAHO FALLS – A man was seriously hurt after crashing into a box truck Tuesday night at Ammon Road and Ririe Highway in Bonneville County.
The man was driving a van and witnesses say it appears he ran a stop sign and T-boned the truck around 8:30 p.m.
The driver complained he was having trouble breathing and officials say his legs were “crushed.”
He was rushed to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by ambulance where his condition is unknown.
The driver of the box truck was walking around and appeared uninjured, according to witnesses.
Idaho State Police and the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
