BLACKFOOT – A 28-year-old Shelley woman died after deputies say she jumped from a moving vehicle Sunday evening.
Codi Edwards was pronounced dead Monday morning at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
The Bingham County Sheriff’s Office were called to Blackfoot River Road by Cedar Creek around 6:00 p.m. Sunday. When officers arrived, they noticed Edwards on the roadway. Two people were working on her injuries and a deputy did chest compressions until an ambulance arrived.
Robert Edwards, the driver of the car, tells officers his wife jumped out of the vehicle while they were driving down the road.
