REXBURG — The Ceez the Night concert went off without a hitch Friday night.
Around 100 Rexburg residents attended the concert to raise money to help Brigham Young University-Idaho student Cesar Ibanez with medical and living expenses.
Ibanez suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, a genetic disease that is gradually destroying the muscles that allow him to walk, breathe, swallow and control his arms, neck and head.
The concert was hosted by Ibanez’s roommates, who organized the event to raise awareness of a GoFundMe campaign to raise $10,000. As of midday Saturday they had raised $6,325. Donate to the Ceez the Night GoFundMe here.
Performers at the concert included Dallen Graff, Kyson and Karli Kydd and the Dry Erase Tracks.
