IDAHO FALLS — The East Idaho Toys for Tots program says its in desperate need of toys for boys and girls ages 9-13.
Volunteers from the Marine Corp Reserve, local businesses and the Health Department have spent the past few weeks sorting new, unwrapped toys, but organizers say they have fallen short.
“We need stuffed toys and age appropriate toys for kids ages 9-13,” said local Marine Corp Reserve representative Dan Suciu.
Toys will be accepted until Thursday, Dec. 17. Click here for a list of locations where you can bring the items.
Suciu says the program has received all types of donations and organizers are thankful for the all the help.
“On Monday I was handed an enveloped from a man who delivered it on his bike during the snow storm,” Suciu said. “The envelope contained 15 cents. We are truly humbled at his sacrifice and are grateful for all of our donations.”
