IDAHO FALLS — A wanted man and a woman are in custody after they were arrested at an Idaho Falls home Wednesday, Dec. 16.

Dean Whitmore, 41, had an outstanding felony warrant for failing to appear at a drug related felony hearing.

Bonneville County Sheriff Deputies say they spotted Whitmore walking into a home with Lacy Jo Moedl, 37, on the 600 block of I St. around 8:30 a.m.

A short time later, investigators say Moedl left the home and spoke with deputies. They say she agreed to bring Whitmore out and turn him over to law enforcement.

After waiting for several minutes, police received no indication that Whitmore and Moedl were coming out of the home. Deputies knocked on the door numerous times and eventually kicked in the door to enter the residence.

Once inside, deputies located Whitmore, Moedl, and another male and female. Deputies say they found drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.

A search warrant was subsequently obtained for the residence and further drug charges are pending at this time.

Whitmore was arrested for the outstanding felony warrant and Moedl was arrested for harboring a wanted felon.

Both were booked into the Bonneville County Jail along with another female occupant that had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear.
