SWAN VALLEY — Emergency crews are currently on the scene of serious crash on Highway 26 between Swan Valley and Ririe.
Witnesses tell EastIdahoNews.com the head-on crash involving a truck and Subaru happened around 7:30 p.m. Multiple emergency workers responded and they had to use the jaws of life to get the driver of the Subaru out of the vehicle, according to witnesses.
The Subaru driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. It’s unclear if anyone else was injured in the accident.
Drivers are asked to avoid Highway 26 until the wreck is cleared.
