IDAHO FALLS — Idaho Falls Police arrested 21‐year‐old Jonathon Rutledge for felony attempted
strangulation early Sunday morning.
Rutledge of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
According to police, officers responded to the 1800 block of East 17th Street around 3:30 a.m. for a
domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, police say Rutledge and a 19‐year‐old woman had gotten into an argument and it turned physical.
The woman told police Rutledge choked her.
