IDAHO FALLS — A 55-year-old man was arrested for felony attempted strangulation after police say he grabbed a woman by the throat and pushed her down.
Eugene V. Vanausdal was booked into the Bonneville County Jail Monday, Nov. 16.
Police say they responded to the 300 block of Cottage Place for a report of a physical domestic around 9:15 p.m. When they arrived, officers say they made contact with a 55-year-old woman who said she and Vanausdal got into an argument.
Detectives say the argument turned physical when Vanausdal grabbed the woman by the throat and pushed her down. He then allegedly squeezed her neck and put his body weight on her neck.
