AMMON — Papa Murphy’s opened the doors of their seventh eastern Idaho franchise at 3160 East 17th Street on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Restaurant Manager Ronda McHargue told EastIdahoNews.com they’re glad to “take the heat off” the company’s first Idaho Falls location, one and a half miles up the road. That location, she said, was the first Papa Murphy’s in the nation to net $2 million in sales.
McHargue jokes that customers at the 1600 East 17th store have been “harassing” her for months wondering when the new restaurant, built by locally-owned Castle Builders, would be up and running.
This new store is the first in east Idaho to take on the franchise’s “Create” look. There’s a roomier waiting area, a modern vibe and a state of the art dough mixer out front for customers to watch.
The official grand opening, complete with a party and prizes, will happen early next year.
